Philosophy

I hold a Master Degree in Christian Clinical Counseling with certification in Marriage & Family Therapy, licensed by the NCCA, Master in Practical Ministry from WLI, and Ph.D. in Leadership and Practical ministry by Wagner University. I am an ordained minister and throughout the years, I have had the incredible privilege to minister, counsel, and touch the lives of hundreds of people around the world while seeing amazing results. In my practice, I have been trained in the integration of the Science of Clinical Psychology and Biblical Perspectives, as I incorporated deliverance, SOZO techniques, and inner healing through the power of God. I have diverse experience with many ethnical backgrounds and denominations. My passion is to see one experiencing a life of wholeness, restoration, and fulfillment according to God’s original plan. I enjoy incorporating life coaching into treatment by helping one to develop and grow into their spiritual identity with prayer aligned with a biblical foundation. Helping you to reclaim wholeness and hope in the midst of your difficulties is what I long to achieve through Gate to Freedom Ministry.

Experience

Throughout the years, I have had the incredible privilege to minister, counsel, and touch the lives of hundreds of people. I’ve provided individual and couples counseling in churches and Christian non-profits. I’ve presented seminars and equipped leaders on inner healing, wholeness, and restoration; identity and destiny on international level. There are many wonderful testimonials as a result of my practice. My favorite scripture is Zechariah 4:6 It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.

About

Petya was born and raised in Bulgaria, a former communist country. A couple of years after the fall of the Communist regime, she heard the Gospel for the first time and experienced a dramatic encounter with Jesus Christ at age of 22. It changed her life deeply and marked the beginning of an incredible journey of faith that took her and her family to the USA in 2001. Since then, she has gone through an extensive period of study and ministry training in inner healing, counseling, the gifts of the Godhead, spiritual warfare, and discipleship. Petya and her husband, Arman Lalane, are the founders of the nonprofit organization Bridge of Intersection.
